Job summary

Spokane Community College is seeking a Health Science and Arts & Sciences Pathway Specialist (Program Specialist 2) to manage enrollment processes and act as a resource for students and faculty. The role requires coordinating with multiple departments, maintaining complex records, and delivering student-centered services.

You'll engage in program reviews, enrollment management, and wrap-around support while upholding equity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Ability to learn multiple degree/certificate and admission cycles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse students and staff.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and video conferencing tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, Zoom).

Responsibilities

• Meet with students and advise applicants on prerequisites.
• Evaluate and score program applications impartially.
• Provide information and technical assistance to students and faculty.
• Prepare enrollment materials and invite students via CRM.
• Maintain program interest lists and track transcripts and tests.
• Monitor CRM inquiries and respond to student/public questions.
• Coordinate enrollment activities with deans, chairs, and faculty.
• Attend meetings and present on program topics and student interventions.
• Train with SCC Equity; support Guided Pathway initiatives.
• Back up other department areas as needed.
