Job summary

Community Colleges of Spokane is seeking a Health Science and Arts & Sciences Pathway Specialist (Program Specialist 2) to manage onboarding, planning, and enrollment of students in Health Science and Arts & Sciences programs at Spokane Community College.

This position supports enrollment operations, advises students, coordinates with faculty and offices across Admissions, Registration, and Financial Aid, and drives student-centered, equitable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent mix of education and experience required.
• Ability to learn the various degrees/certificates and/or admission/registration cycles.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with equity and belonging through multicultural awareness and responsiveness.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word; Zoom/Teams).
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• Two or more years of experience in Student Services or related area preferred.
• Knowledge of FERPA and CRM systems helpful.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students and advise potential program applicants of prerequisites.
• Gather, sort, organize, and score competitive entry program applications impartially.
• Provide information and assistance to students and faculty in Health Science and Arts & Sciences division programs and promote these programs.
• Prepare enrollment and promotional materials and invite students to events via CRM.
• Create and maintain program interest lists for assigned programs.
• Evaluate transcripts, test scores, and files for program acceptance; assist retention and progression.
• Answer questions from administrators, deans, faculty, counselors and staff about programs; monitor CRM inquiries.
• Attend meetings; develop and present on division topics and enrollment practices.
• Coordinate enrollment activities with deans, chairs, faculty, counselors, and other staff; monitor activity in CRM.
