Job summary

AdvanSix is seeking a Health, Safety, and Security Manager to lead site safety programs, regulatory compliance, and risk reduction at our Philadelphia-area facility. The role reports to Plant Management and supervises a safety team, contractors, and initiatives that advance the site’s safety culture.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field, 7+ years of progressive safety experience in a manufacturing or chemical setting, and strong leadership with knowledge of OSHA

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of safety leadership in manufacturing or chemical environments.
Proven ability to lead teams and drive safety programs.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement safety programs that improve site safety culture and regulatory compliance.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
Coordinate site health and safety assessments, audits, and training initiatives.
Coach and develop Safety team and contractors to maintain high safety standards.
Monitor safety metrics and drive continuous improvement aligned with business goals.
