Job summary

Valeo, a global automotive supplier, is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Intern in Hamilton, OH. This 12-month internship offers hands-on risk analysis, safety audits, and development of site procedures while supporting regulatory compliance.

You must be an enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor’s in environmental safety or a related field (or graduate in April/May 2026). The program emphasizes practical learning, teamwork, and exposure to real-world safety projects.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in environmental or occupational safety.
• Preferred coursework in lockout/tagout, chemical safety, OSHA/EPA.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement Valeo Group safety requirements.
• Check equipment safety compliance and perform risk analyses.
• Assist in developing and applying HSE procedures on site.
• Carry out inspections, audits, and follow-up actions.
• Stay informed on regulatory developments and update SDS and PPE assessments.
