Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, safety management or similar program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as an EHS professional in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and Colorado Department of Health and Environment regulations.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to reach a common goal.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Velocity/IntellaQuest is beneficial.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work 75% of time on the plant floor; 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive EHS goals and objectives across levels of staff.
• Train employees on EHS policies and practices in formal and informal settings.
• Conduct inspections, risk assessments, and identify hazards.
• Provide solutions and intervention strategies for EHS hazards.
• Monitor plant processes and employee engagement with safety programs.
• Generate assessment documentation, incident and environmental reports, and safety manuals.
• Report findings to management and regulatory agencies; ensure compliance.
