Job summary

Golden Aluminum in Fort Lupton, Colorado, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to train employees on EHS policies, conduct inspections, and generate health and safety assessment reports.

The role requires collaboration across levels, hands-on plant-floor work, and the ability to lead in a 24/7 manufacturing setting; benefits include competitive wage and strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, industrial engineering, safety management or similar program.
• Minimum of two years’ experience as an EHS professional in a manufacturing environment preferably in metals manufacturing.
• Detailed knowledge of relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, ANSI, and Colorado Department of Health and Environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams to reach a common goal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Previous experience with Velocity, Intellaquest or other similar programs highly beneficial.
• Strong leadership and training abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to demonstrate a sense of urgency when responding to situations.
• Demonstrated ability to readily adapt to a changing environment
• Capable of working the days/hours necessary to support a facility that operates 24/7.

Responsibilities

• Ongoing personal enrichment to stay abreast of the latest EHS trends, policies, regulations and best practices and using gained knowledge to continue to improve EHS metrics.

Job Summary

$85,000+
