About The Role

An Acidulants Health & Safety Technician/Coordinator is responsible for supporting employee safety and wellbeing, developing H&S programs, and managing day-to-day safety initiatives across production areas.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in employee and contractor training programs, promote a strong safety culture, and ensure OSHA compliance.
2. Support industrial hygiene monitoring and reporting programs.
3. Assist in emergency response efforts and report potential issues to the EHSS Manager.
4. Meet reporting requirements to maintain compliance with regulations.
5. Support regulatory audits and permit updates.
6. Create safety policies and procedures.
7. Conduct inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
8. Provide safety training and communicate protocols, including onboarding and regular training.
9. Track safety metrics and prepare reports for the EHSS Manager.
10. Stay updated with relevant laws and ensure legal compliance.
11. Foster a culture of safety and employee wellbeing.
12. Seek continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.

About You

• Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial settings; acidulants experience a plus.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and relevant regulations; excellent communication skills; ability to conduct risk assessments and develop safety programs.
• Leadership qualities including communication, motivation, organization, initiative, accountability, and results orientation.

Total Rewards

The annual pay range is $67,977.60 - $84,972.00, bonus eligible. Compensation depends on experience, skills, and role responsibilities. During interviews, discuss your fit within this range.
