Job summary

ENTACT is seeking a Health & Safety Administrator in Houston, TX. The role starts in-office during training, then shifts to a hybrid arrangement. You will oversee compliance programs, drug screening, background checks, MVR monitoring, and training, partnering with management, operations, and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 5 years of professional safety experience and strong communication skills, with proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. Travel as needed within projects nationwide.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience in workplace safety, HR, healthcare, or related field.
• Experience administering OSHA/HAZWOPER requirements and interpreter obligations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to advise managers and vendors on compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee client substance abuse prevention requirements and DISA contractor program.
• Administer drug-screening programs and coordinate responses.
• Monitor MVR and other background-check requirements.
• Coordinate safety training registrations and ensure timely completion.
• Track compliance data, identify gaps, and generate management reports.
• Provide cross-functional support for HSA programs and ISNetworld.
