State of California's Department of Social Services is seeking a Health and Safety Section Analyst I. The role supports emergency preparedness, workplace safety inspections, injury prevention, ergonomics, CPR/AED coordination, and related health and safety initiatives.

The Analyst I will collaborate with staff to identify workplace concerns, coordinate solutions, deliver training, and promote a safe, prepared work environment.

Responsibilities

• This position assists with emergency preparedness and response, workplace safety inspections, injury and illness prevention, ergonomics, CPR/AED coordination, and other health and safety initiatives.
• The Analyst I will work with staff and management throughout the Department to identify workplace concerns, coordinate solutions, provide training and guidance, and support programs that promote a safe and prepared workplace.
