The Iowa Department of Inspections, Appeals, and Licensing (DIAL) is seeking a Program Planner 3 - Iowa Professional Health Program Coordinator in Des Moines to oversee case management and regulatory compliance within the Licensing Division. The role emphasizes leadership, ethics, and mastery of health-profession statutes and standards.

Responsibilities include providing independent, legally sound case management and guiding program case managers, committees, boards, attorneys, and treatment

Qualifications

• Seven years of full-time experience administering or enforcing a program.
• One year of related program administration experience.
• Total of four years education plus experience as described.
• Two years of graduate-level education plus experience as described.
• Graduation from an accredited school of law.
• Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch at Program Planner 1 or 2 level.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent, legally sound case management to ensure participant compliance.
• Serve as lead worker, guiding program case managers and coordinating with boards, attorneys, and treatment teams.
