Effective July 1, 2025 in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 04, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. CCHCS seeks to fill a Permanent Fulltime Health Record Technician II (Supervisor) position in the Medical Services – Health Information Management.
Under the close supervision of the Health Records Technician (HRT) III (Supervisor), the HRT II (Supervisor) completes record and health information processing and release assignments following established California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) and California Correctional Health Care Services and Health Information Management (HIM) unit policies and procedures.
This position is located in the Health Records Center, Medical Services. This program is tasked with modernizing the way health records are created, delivered, and stored throughout California’s correctional health care system in order to improve and enhance patient care. Management develops and implements staffing models, policies, procedures, and training tools for health records employees. Staff ensures that integrity of patient health records is maintained within the Health Record Center.
