Job Description And Duties

Effective July 1, 2025 in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full‑time employee in Bargaining Unit 1 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 30, 2027 . Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.


Under the general direction of the Supervisor II, California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS), Acquisitions Management, Enterprise Asset Management, the Supervisor I is responsible for providing staff direction and the effective management of the CCHCS’ Standardized Supply Chain Management program. Incumbent must be able to travel to assigned institutions.


This position is located in the Acquisition Management Section, Business Services. This program provides the oversight and delivery of the goods and services California Correctional Health Care Services requires for daily functions, including statewide acquisitions of Information Technology (IT) and non‑IT health care (medical, mental health, and dental) goods and support services, strategic acquisitions, enterprise‑wide asset management and contract management services.
