Job Description And Duties

Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit S01 , and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by three percent and will receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027 . Salaries do not reflect the recent changes. Under the general direction of the Associate Director, Compliance and Reporting Unit (CRU), the Health Program Manager (HPM) II (Supervisory) oversees the activities of section staff responsible for evaluating the effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance at each CDCR institution with health care related CCHCS policies and procedures, court mandates, and federal and state regulations; facilitating timely access to health care services for patients. Travel may be required. This position is located in CRU, Corrections Services (CS). The CS’ programs provide vital services that ensure CCHCS’ continued compliance, health care access, and safety throughout all institutions. This advertisement is for a HPM II position located at CCHCS Headquarters (HQ), in Elk Grove, Sacramento County. Please note: A Training and Development (T&D) assignment will not be considered at this time. This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent.
