Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College invites applications for a Health Professions Student Worker (FWS / STEP). The student assists HP program directors, lab staff, and division personnel with various tasks and lab setup/breakdown. Scheduling allows support for faculty, with a focus on accuracy and dependable service.

Working hours are up to 25 per week; placement range starts at $10.00 per hour. Open to students outside Health Professions to comply with privacy rules.

Qualifications

• Good telephone and customer service skills.
• Reliable and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to file student records accurately.
• Assist with setting up and breaking down labs.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and spreadsheets.
• Prior experience in office setting.
• Demonstrated ability to attend to details.

Responsibilities

• The Health Professions Aide – Student is primarily responsible for assisting HP Program Directors, HPC Simulation/Lab Director, HPC Lab Assistant, and HP Division Staff in a variety of tasks. When scheduling allows, the student will assist faculty members with appropriate tasks.
• Student may NOT be enrolled in a Health Professions program and serve in this position. This position is open to students outside of Health Professions – to adhere with the Privacy Act.
