Job summary

The UCSF Kanbar Center for Simulation is seeking a Simulation Supervisor to lead health professions education programs, design and evaluate simulations, and ensure alignment with accreditation standards. You will oversee curriculum activities, scheduling, and assessments for learners across multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years directly relevant experience, 3+ years lead/supervisor/manager experience.
• Advanced knowledge of health professions education theory and regulatory requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of administrative analysis and operations research.
• Knowledge of educational technology and systems; ability to troubleshoot related technology issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervises simulation technicians to ensure programs meet educational objectives.
• Oversees planning and delivery of clinical training scenarios and program development.
• Manages program operations, budgeting, and liaison with stakeholders.
• Coordinates large scale events and workshops for learners and staff.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provides leadership and advisory support to management and staff.
