Job summary

American Health Plans is seeking an Implementation and Engagement Manager to lead SNF engagement initiatives with partner facilities. You will collaborate across Health Plan teams, Network, Marketing and Local Care Delivery to drive enrollment and program success.

The role requires 3+ years in health care or managed care, experience with value-based and risk-based negotiating arrangements, and proven ability to build external executive relationships.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in health care / managed care with rising responsibilities and leadership.
• Experience with value-based and risk-based negotiating arrangements.
• Proven ability to build relationships with external executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes the Participating SNF Engagement strategy; builds strong facility relationships with partners.
• Collaborates cross-functionally with local health plan teams, Network, Market Medical Director and Marketing as needed.
• Aim to achieve facility-level engagement goals and drive enrollment.
• Works with Product, Sales, Marketing, Member Experience, Finance, Network, Clinical, Quality, Operations and local care delivery teams.
• Fosters mutual benefit with facilities, enabling Model of Care and reducing total cost of care.
• Communicates KPIs to participating facilities.
• Identifies challenges and facilitates results-driven solutions.
• Manages cross-functional implementation projects to deliver on time, budget and quality.
• Understands client business needs and workflows to provide the fullest value to members and clients.
• Communicates implementation objectives and technical details to stakeholders at all levels.
• Tracks progress and maintains implementation data repository and docs.
• Creates mitigation plans during implementation phases to maximize enrollment.
• Ensures transparency of project status across AHP and client stakeholders.
• Provides feedback to internal teams regarding requests and product enhancements.
• Adheres to all compliance requirements.
