Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Policy Documentation Specialist to translate and draft complex self-funded plan information into clear, compliant plan documents. You will analyze SPDs, amendments, SBCs and restates, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance at both federal and state levels.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, negotiate deadlines, improve processes, and help onboard new hires.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of self-funded plan document experience.
• Extensive plan writing experience supporting self-funded plans.
• Interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex benefit information into clear plan language.
• Analyze, draft, edit and review SPDs, amendments, SBCs and restates.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Negotiate deadlines and improve processes.
• Support onboarding and training for staff.
• Maintain high-quality, error-free documentation.
