Qualifications

Position: Health Plan Account Manager

The Health Plan Account Manager will retain and grow a book of business by managing day-to-day service requirements within the designated health plan customer segment and/or region, including management of a national health plan. A background in sales and account management in medical insurance coverage or experience with managing health plans is preferred.

This is a national account-focused sales role with remote options available for candidates located in Quest Business Centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the day-to-day service requirements for each client.
  2. Retain the business through service excellence and account management.
  3. Maintain key operational relationships at the client.
  4. Contribute to RFP and contracting processes.
  5. Upsell new product offerings and expansions, such as Anchor Tests, Wellness products, or IT applications.
  6. Develop organizational links to resolve client problems.
  7. Collaborate with HP Account Executive partners to align on priority service issues.
  8. Perform financial analysis of denial recovery, contract performance, and billing opportunities.
  9. Coordinate medical engagement and policy reviews.
  10. Coordinate with IT on eligibility and data agreements.
  11. Coordinate with Commercial reps and marketing on In-Network campaigns supporting health plans.
Required Work Experience:
  • 5-7 years of sales experience in Healthcare, Medical, or Health Plan Administration and/or Billing Analysis.
  • 3+ years of healthcare/payor experience, including problem resolution, service management, and relationship management.
