Qualifications

These are often serious decisions with far-reaching consequences, requiring sensitivity, tact, and a clear dedication to service. It's about providing clarity and hope.

The Health Plan Account Manager will retain and grow a book of business by managing day-to-day service requirements within the designated health plan customer segment and/or region, including management of a national health plan. A sales and account management background in medical insurance coverage or experience with managing health plans is preferred.

This is a National Account focused sales role with remote options available for candidates located in Quest Business Centers.

  • Manage the day-to-day service requirements for each client.
  • Retain the business through service excellence and effective account management.
  • Maintain key operational relationships at the client.
  • Contribute to the RFP and contracting processes.
  • Upsell new product offerings and expansions, such as Anchor Tests, Wellness products, or IT applications.
  • Develop key organizational links to people and functions that can help resolve client problems.
  • Collaborate with HP Account Executive partners to ensure alignment on priority service issues.
  • Develop financial analyses of denial recovery, contract performance, and billing-related opportunities.
  • Coordinate medical engagement and policy reviews.
  • Coordinate with IT on eligibility and data agreements.
  • Coordinate with Commercial reps and marketing, primarily around In-Network direction campaigns supporting health plans.

Required Work Experience:

  • 5-7 years of sales experience in Healthcare, Medical, or Health Plan Administration and/or Billing Analysis.
  • 3+ years of healthcare/payor experience, including problem resolution, service management, and relationship management.
