Job summary

PA Consulting Group in Boston is seeking an Operating Model Consultant to help health and life sciences clients translate strategy into operating models, governance, and capabilities. You will design future-state models and transformation roadmaps in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

You’ll engage with stakeholders from clinical to executive levels, gaining exposure to pharma, biotech, medtech, and healthcare projects. The role offers a hybrid work model with client-site work as needed.

Qualifications

• You have at minimum 2+ years of professional experience in consulting, health and life sciences, transformation, or a related industry role.
• You’ve supported clinical, R&D, medical, regulatory, commercial, or enterprise transformation initiatives within pharmaceutical, biotech, medtech, or healthcare organizations.
• You possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• You’re known to be proactive and have a desire to solve difficult challenges with creativity and structure.

Responsibilities

• Designing future-state operating models, including organizational structures, governance, capabilities, and ways of working.
• Analyzing complex business challenges and developing practical recommendations, business cases, and transformation roadmaps.
• Facilitating stakeholder discussions and workshops, working with clients from operational teams to executive leadership.
• Assessing organizational capabilities, operating models, and ways of working to identify opportunities for improved performance and transformation.
