Job summary

Delta College is seeking a Health Lab Assistant for nights and weekends at the University Center in MI. This on-site role supports Health Professions Lab experiences outside typical classroom hours and helps maintain simulation equipment and supplies.

You will set up labs, assist with simulators and patient care manikins, clean and inventory equipment, and coordinate with faculty to ensure accessible lab spaces for students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Certificate in health field: CNA or MA
• Ability to work with diverse populations

• Proficient in use of technology: MS Office

Responsibilities

• Set up Health Professions Lab experiences before, during, and/or after classroom hours.
• Assist with configuring simulators, patient care manikins, and training devices.
• Maintain CPR equipment, storage rooms, and training classrooms.
• Help inventory and replace linens, manage supplies under supervision.
• Communicate with Health Lab Coordinator, Simulation Educator Learning Specialist, and faculty.
