Merit Health seeks an experienced Manager of Information Systems to guide and support hospital-wide technology initiatives. You will lead a team of IT professionals responsible for applications, networking, security, and clinical/administrative systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and patient care objectives.

Collaborate with clinical and administrative leadership to implement secure, efficient technology solutions that optimize operations and protect data integrity.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required.
• Four (4) or more years of direct experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in a closely related field with Bachelor's degree required.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversees daily IT operations, including hardware, software, and network systems.
• Leads the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of information systems and applications.
• Coordinates system upgrades, migrations, and installations.
• Ensures proper data security practices, including network access control, cybersecurity protocols, and HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborates with hospital leadership, department managers, and vendors to identify technology needs and deliver cost-effective solutions.
• Monitors system performance and availability, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
• Provides user support and training to promote effective system utilization.
• Develops and maintains IT documentation, including system configurations, processes, and disaster recovery procedures.
• Oversees IT vendor relationships, contract management, and equipment procurement in coordination with corporate IT and purchasing.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
