Job summary

IQVIA Health Information Technology Specialist is sought to support integration of brands into EHR systems in the US across priority accounts. The role focuses on identifying gaps in patient care workflows and addressing barriers to optimize EHR usability and outcomes.

You will work with Account Management, Medical and cross-functional teams, sharing insights to enhance patient care and support population health across inpatient and outpatient sites. Overnight travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum of 4 years working in design, build, and/or testing with EHR software (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, McKesson) or in a health system informatics leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of healthcare IT and software build/optimization techniques.
• Ability to discover issues, prioritize, and solve in a matrix environment.
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps/barriers within EHR systems at priority IDNs & Health Systems.
• Problem solve and provide solutions for EHR gaps.
• Identify workflow barriers and recommend scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with end users, clinicians, IT informatics, and quality teams to provide insights to enhance patient care.
• Align resources to develop comprehensive plans by priority institution.
• Complete workflow assessments to identify gaps in patient care across the journey.
• Develop and implement comprehensive customer-specific plans.
• Share insights on optimizing EHR systems for inpatient, outpatient, and ED care.
