Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is hiring a Programmer Analyst I for a hybrid role with 3 days in office across multiple locations including Salt Lake City. You will work within the Actuarial team to develop analytics, reports and data models that support cost containment and health plan operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 5+ years of related experience, plus strong SQL/ETL skills and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Operational Technology Management, Computer Science, Operations Research or related field.
• 5+ years job-related work experience or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops knowledge of health plan operations, data sources and structures related to Cambia products and market position.
• Identifies needed reporting and distributes information to stakeholders.
• Designs development of reports, programs, and models and conducts acceptance testing.
• Proactively identifies issues to management and communicates with internal/external clients.
• Writes documentation describing program development, logic, coding and changes.
• Interprets business requirements and develops design specifications.
• Writes code to implement business requirements using approved technologies.
• Develops tests to validate correct implementation of business requirements.
