Job summary

Cambia Health Solutions is hiring a Programmer Analyst I in a hybrid role with 3 days in-office across our listed offices. This position supports the Actuarial team with programming business solutions, reports, and data analysis to improve health care processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of experience, strong SQL/ETL skills, and the ability to work across departments to deliver actionable insights. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5+ years of job-related experience or equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of health plan operations, data sources and cost containment strategies.
• Identify needed reporting and distribute information to stakeholders.
• Design, develop and test new reports, programs, and models.
• Proactively identify issues and communicate with management.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
• Write documentation for program development, logic, and changes.
• Interpret business requirements and translate them into design specifications.
• Write code/configurations to implement requirements using approved technologies.
• Develop tests to validate implementations.
• Acquire knowledge of Cambia data systems for analytics and reporting.
• Participate in peer review processes.
• Support corporate profitability through prudent risk management.
