The Sequoia Project is seeking a Senior Advisor, Interoperability Policy to serve as the principal expert on health IT policy. You will guide leadership on strategy, risk, and issues, and own policy development supporting trust frameworks and nationwide interoperability.

This role requires writing excellence, analytical rigor, and the ability to manage multiple policy initiatives with cross-functional collaboration across legal, governance, and technical teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development, analysis, revision, and maintenance of policies and guidance supporting trust framework and nationwide interoperability initiatives.
• Research and analyze health IT policy, regulatory developments, interoperability requirements, industry standards, and emerging issues to inform policy development and recommendations.
• Collaborate across legal, governance, technical, operations, and stakeholder engagement functions to develop clear, practical, and implementable policies.
• Design and lead iterative policy review processes, synthesizing input from subject matter experts, contractors, internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
• Analyze substantive feedback, research underlying issues, and develop recommendations for resolution.
• Ensure policy documents and related guidance are accurate, publication-ready, and version-controlled.
• Lead multiple policy initiatives with defined timelines and deliverables.
• Coordinate contractors and experts supporting policy research, analysis, drafting, and review.
• Prepare policy analyses, briefs, executive summaries, and guidance for leadership and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement of policy development and document-management practices.
• Represent interoperability policy positions in internal/external engagements.
