Job summary

Trustmark is hiring a sales professional to sell self-funded health products primarily via telephone and online channels, with subsequent handoff to an account manager for ongoing service. You will develop new accounts and grow revenue within your assigned territory, while guiding customers to the most suitable products and delivering regular sales reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with 2–4 years of relevant sales experience OR High School Diploma or GED with 4–6 years relevant sales experience.
• Active life and health license preferred or must complete within 90 days of hire with company support.
• Consultative sales expertise required.

Responsibilities

• Sell self-funded health products almost exclusively via telephone and Internet (chat, email, video conferencing).
• Develop new accounts and generate new business from existing accounts; pursue leads within territory.
• Respond to customer inquiries and offer guidance on appropriate products; execute sales strategy.
• Identify new opportunities/leads and generate sales reports; transition accounts to an account manager for ongoing maintenance and service.
