TEKsystems is hiring health insurance inside sales representatives to join our clients' team remotely in the states of Iowa, Illinois, or Minnesota. The Inside Sales Specialist is responsible for increasing Medicare membership. The Sales Specialist utilizes their expertise to effectively assist prospects and members through the sales cycle to ensure they are recommending the best product for their needs. This driven individual meets and exceeds their sales goals while being compliant to ensure the best overall experience for our future members.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Before AEP, the day will be divided into inbound and outbound calls. Outbound calls will be more lead-based and involve existing members, making it less of a cold call. Most of these calls will be warm calls. There is a script to work from, but deviations are allowed if necessary. Inbound calls will be from Medicare or Dean Health Plan, with the system announcing the caller beforehand. They support Medicare, IFP, Medicaid lines, starting with Medicare plans, then Medicaid, then IFP.
Skills & Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED
Preferred: Bachelor's degree
1 to 3 years of inside sales or brokerage experience in a health insurance environment
Active health insurance license
