Job summary

Lifepoint Health's Georgetown Community Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a part-time Health Information Management Technician to support inpatient and outpatient records. The role involves chart review, data entry, and assisting with record retrieval and documentation, with initial training in Georgetown and placement in Versailles, KY.

• Retrieves, logs, and prints medical records as requested by physician offices, patients, other hospitals, and other entities as needed.
• Performs data entry for stillbirth records.

How You'll Contribute

A Health Information Management Technician who excels in this role:

• Analyzes the assembled medical record for chart completion deficiencies in accordance with regulatory requirements and medical staff rules and regulations.

Qualifications And Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in release of information practices is preferred.

Schedule: Part Time: Flexible Schedule - 5 days/week @ 4 hours/day or 3 days/week with longer hours. Start time between 8:00AM - 10:00AM

Location: Position is in Versailles, KY however, initial training will be in Georgetown. Must be willing to commute.
