Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• Certifications: BLS, ARRT.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of the department to align with objectives.
• Develops departmental goals and supports strategic plan.
• Manages staff relations, performance, and conflict resolution.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll, and engagements with students.
• Monitors budgets, compliance, contracts, and vendor relations.
• Oversees equipment and supply needs and stock levels.
• Coordinates patient care across staff and departments.
• May provide patient care when necessary.
• Fosters professional growth and evidence-based practices.
• Ensures regular attendance and performs additional duties as assigned.
• Manages hiring, termination, training, and performance reviews.

How You'll Contribute

• Manages the daily operations of the assigned department or function to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.
• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• May provide patient care when necessary.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
• Integrates evidence-based practices into operations and clinical protocols.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards.
• Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
