You will manage release-of-information requests, process and index incoming records, maintain health information workflows, and support record retention, audits, and legal health record requests, while monitoring queues and service levels for timely

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of medical records, health-information, or revenue-cycle experience with data entry and EHR.
• Able to pass a criminal background check and hold an Alaska driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage release-of-information requests and index incoming records.
• Maintain health information workflows and support chart corrections.
• Assist with record retention, audits, and legal health record requests.
• Monitor work queues and service levels to ensure timely completion.
• Collaborate with clinical, front-desk, billing, and revenue cycle teams to identify errors; run reports; track KPIs.
