Cynet Health in Cleveland, OH seeks an Allied Health - Health Information Technician to compile and organize patient health information, review medical reports for completeness, and prepare requests for specific reports.

You will maintain files, type health information forms, generate daily and monthly census statistics, and coordinate with other departments while upholding confidentiality and health information regulations.

Formación

• Minimum of records management experience or 9 months.
• 1 course or 3 months of medical terminology experience.
• 1 course or 3 months of typing experience.
• Knowledge of confidentiality and healthcare regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Compile health information by reviewing, cataloging, and checking medical reports for completeness.
• Organize medical reports for placement in files and retrieve records as needed.
• Prepare and type health information forms and statistical reports (daily/monthly census, admissions, discharges, length of stay).
• Coordinate with other departments on health information records procedures.
• Ensure confidentiality of patient information and comply with regulations.
