Qualifications

• Detail oriented and highly organized; familiar with CMS, DMH, The Joint Commission within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process health records requests.
• Review and analyze medical records for accuracy and timeliness.
• Assemble records chronologically and prepare for imaging.
• Maintain confidentiality and chart tracking.
• Assist clinicians with pulling and locating charts.
• Ensure records filed promptly at end of shift.
• Process authorizations to release information.
• Provide professional telephone assistance following 5 Star standards.
