Job summary

MHMR of Tarrant County is seeking a detail-oriented Health Information Management Coordinator to process requests for release of information from the official client medical records. All work follows the HIM Department’s approved Operating Procedures and guidelines to ensure accurate, compliant handling of sensitive information.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, plus 2 years’ medical office or chartroom experience and a valid Texas driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years’ experience in a medical office or chartroom setting.
• Valid Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Process requests for release of information from official client (medical) records.
• Perform duties in accordance with Health Information Management (HIM) Department’s Operating Procedures.
