Job summary

Signature HealthCARE LLC Hartford Rehab & Wellness Center seeks a Health Information Management professional to maintain resident medical records, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as the Compliance Liaison for the facility. You will manage records through lifecycle, coordinate documentation with hospitals, and support QAPI and investigations.

The role requires RHIT/RHIA preferred and experience in healthcare records management, with strong analytical and communication skills and

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Health Information Management or related field required; RHIT/RHIA preferred.
• Knowledge of legal, ethical, and regulatory standards for health information.
• Experience in a health care facility, especially long-term care, is preferred.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and document management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain residents' medical records per policy and regulations.
• Act as Compliance Liaison for the facility and support annual risk assessments.
• Coordinate record requests, audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper retention of records across lifecycle.
