Job summary

Univera Healthcare is seeking an Informatics Analyst to extract and develop complex reports and analyses, delivering summaries and recommendations. The role will monitor health care trends, outcomes and business processes using data mining and BI techniques to support informed decision making.

At higher levels, the role provides statistical information, identifies trends, and develops advanced predictive models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Medical Informatics, Economics, or related field.
• Moderate knowledge of relational DBs and extracting information using SAS, Cognos, SPSS, or similar tool.
• One year of SAS, VBA or SQL experience required.
• Intermediate level of the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops reporting and analytic solutions including routine reports, data mining, predictive analytics, macros, cubes, dashboards.
• Identify health care trends, improve quality and manage data accuracy and timeliness.
• Train and mentor fellow analysts as levels advance and participate in project teams.
