Qualifications

• Less than 2 years of IT experience or analytics/informatics experience; 4 years of experience may substitute a bachelor’s degree; 2 years of experience may substitute an associate’s degree.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Performs exploratory data analysis and data mining of healthcare claims and authorizations data
• Designs, documents, develops and rolls out financial, clinical and utilization analyses using SQL, Excel and other tools
• Performs ad‑hoc analyses of varying duration and complexity
• Participates in defining issues to be studied and methodology to address them
• Provides status reports detailing project progress and time allocation
• Coordinates and mentors analytic efforts performed by in‑house staff or outside consultants to ensure completion per the project plan
• Interprets results and prepares data findings in easily understandable formats for varying levels of the organization
