Job summary

Univera Healthcare in New York state is seeking an Informatics Analyst I/II/III/IV (Finance) to extract and develop comprehensive reports and analyses. You will monitor healthcare trends, outcomes, and business processes using data mining and BI tools, delivering insights to inform decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Medical Informatics, Economics, or related field with a minimum of two years' experience in data or information analysis and reporting.
Moderate knowledge of relational DBs and extracting information from them (i.e. using SAS, Cognos, SPSS, or similar tool).
One year of SAS, VBA or SQL experience required.
Intermediate level of the Microsoft suite.

Responsibilities

Develops on-going knowledge of Health Plan's varied data sources and structures to independently take in business requirements, design and execute on requests.
Produces analytics and reports to support business strategies using SAS/SQL and BI tools.
Organizes and prioritizes tasks to complete projects on time.
Provides data-driven recommendations and storytelling to customers.
