Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Business Intelligence professional to gather, organize, and present data to users. You will train users, deliver ad hoc reports, and support analytics systems in a healthcare setting.

The role emphasizes translating complex data into non-technical insights, with responsibilities spanning data preparation, reporting, training, and system administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, data science, analytics, healthcare information systems or closely related discipline from a four-year college or university
• 3 years in the analysis of business processes and interfaces including, but not limited to interpreting system documentation, data and/or business process modeling, and data flow/context diagramming.

Responsibilities

• Develops business intelligence solutions through knowledge of user needs, appropriate data repositories, business intelligence development best practices and innovative use of technologies and systems.
• Delivers ad hoc data and report requests, analyzes data needs for both users and projects, investigates and analyzes data discrepancies, and assists in migration and testing activities.
• Administers the analytics and reporting systems, monitors system performance, coordinates upgrades, tracks licenses, and creates and maintains user documentation.
• Provides user/system support services.
• Utilizes project management techniques for business intelligence projects and services.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
