Job summary

The Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a Health Facility Evaluator II to conduct inspections of health care facilities under state licensure and federal certification requirements. You will document findings and prepare written survey reports, and may work solo, in pairs, or as a team lead.

This mission-essential role requires travel, weekend/holiday work as needed, and completion of mandatory surveys within the first year. Proficiency with Word/Outlook and mobile tech is expected.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years professional or nonprofessional health care licensure, regulation and/or certification experience is required.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections using an established survey process.
• Evaluate facilities for state licensure and federal Medicare/Medicaid participation.
• Document findings and complete written survey reports.
• May survey as an individual, team member, or team leader.
• Complete required Surveyor Minimum Qualifications Test within 12 months.
