ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST

This position supports CDPH’s mission by performing program analysis activities in licensed health facilities to ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. The primary responsibilities include enforcing laws related to operations, policies, procedures, contractual agreements, supplies, personnel, disaster and quality assurance programs, environmental conditions, and other non-clinical services, in accordance with the California Code of Regulations and Health and Safety Code. Extensive travel is required.
The incumbent works under the supervision of a Health Facilities Evaluator II or Staff Services Manager I, with guidance from Health Facilities Evaluator Nurse staff during site visits.
A hybrid telework schedule may be available, subject to CDPH policies.

This position may be eligible for telework, at the Department’s discretion, and in accordance with CDPH’s Telework Policy. All teleworkers must be California residents; candidates outside California may be interviewed but must reside in California prior to appointment.
Travel may be required, with reimbursement based on the employee’s designated headquarters and subject to regulations. The headquarters location is specified in the attached duty statement.
