Job summary

Arizona State University in Downtown Phoenix is seeking an Events Coordinator to lead hands-on planning, coordination, execution and evaluation of a varied events portfolio for ASU Health and its academic units. The role requires strong project management, organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple events in a fast-paced environment.

The position reports to the ASU Health Events Manager and may involve evening, weekend, and special events with a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years of related experience or equivalent
• Experience planning and executing events from start to finish
• Strong project management, organizational and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and manages execution of ASU Health events (in-person, virtual, hybrid)
• Serves as primary contact for events, coordinating objectives, timeline, budget and logistics
• Develops timelines and run-of-show documents using Wrike and other systems
• Manages event registration via Stova, including setup, communications and reporting
• Coordinates venues, catering, AV services, and vendor relationships
• Tracks expenses and ensures budgets align with university policies
• Provides on-site coordination and post-event activities
