Job summary

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in Princeton, NJ seeks a Program Associate to advance health equity through operational excellence, program development, and grant management. You will coordinate meetings, synthesize research, and support officers to advance portfolio goals within a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating team workplans, assisting with grant development, and engaging grantees and experts to drive transformational change.

Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in a relevant field; master’s degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusive philanthropic practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to synthesize complex topics.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate program operations, meetings, and communications for portfolio work.
  • Center equity and dismantling structural racism in program development and management.
  • Support grantmaking processes including solicitation, review, and grant summary writing.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners to implement strategies and ensure timely deliverables.
