Job summary

Lasell University in Newton, MA is seeking a Health Educator/Clinical Counselor. The role combines health/wellness programming with direct mental health counseling for undergraduate students.

You will coordinate alcohol education and Peer Health Education programs, supervise student interns, and collaborate across campus to deliver comprehensive health services. The position requires a master’s degree in counseling or a related field and current MA licensure (LCSW, LICSW, LMHC or psychology).

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in counseling related field and licensure in Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver health/wellness programming for students.
• Provide direct mental health counseling and case management as needed.
• Maintain confidential client records and data in Titanium.
• Consult with staff, faculty, and families while upholding confidentiality.
• Promote campus-wide programming on mental health, substance abuse, sexual assault, and related topics.
• Respond to student mental health emergencies and coordinate care for returning students.
