Job summary

Lasell University in Newton, MA is seeking a full-time admissions recruiter to support domestic recruitment travel, counsel prospective students and families, and collaborate with staff to manage admissions decisions and events. The role includes reviewing applications, presenting to visitors, and building relationships with high schools, community colleges, alumni, and other stakeholders to meet enrollment goals.

A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in higher education or related field.
• Knowledge of Slate by Technolutions enrollment management software and MS Professional software is preferred.
• Must have a valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License for the position and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform fall and spring domestic recruitment travel to high schools, community colleges, college fairs, and events.
• Counsel prospective students and families through the college application and selection process.
• Assist in interviews, presentations, and follow-up communications to highlight the college’s mission.
• Review admission materials and provide timely admissions decisions.
• Represent the college at recruitment events on- and off-campus with professionalism.
• Collaborate with the admission team to manage a recruitment territory and meet enrollment goals.
• Provide information on admission, financial aid, and academic programs to students and families.
• Maintain regular contact with students and families via phone, text, letters, and email.
• Prepare reports on recruitment progress, projections, and travel schedules.
• This role may focus on international or transfer recruitment depending on experience.
