Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Health Educator to join our Community Health team. This pool position will support community and corporate wellness screenings and health education across BayCare’s service area, traveling within the home county and sister counties with reliable transportation.

The role requires AHCA Level 2 background clearance and the ability to work in a hybrid remote environment. You will review screenings, identify risk factors, and refer customers to appropriate services

Qualifications

• Required 1 year related field experience.
• Preferred 2 years in community health.
• Preferred 2 years wellness-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Review screening assessments.
• Identify risk factors and discuss lifestyle changes.
• Refer customers to appropriate services.
• Maintains and distributes teaching materials.
• Facilitates education programs for team members and the community.
• Develops and maintains presentation materials.
• Travels within the service area using own transportation.
