Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Health Educator to join the Community Health team in a PRN, Exempt: No role based in Tampa. You will conduct community and corporate wellness screenings and provide health education across BayCare’s service area.

Position requires AHCA Level 2 background clearance and travel within home county and to sister counties with reliable transportation. Hybrid work arrangement is described in the posting.

Qualifications

BLS certification required.
RN licensure if applicable.
RD licensure if applicable.
PA licensure if applicable.
APRN licensure if applicable.
Florida driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

Review screening assessments and identify risk factors.
Discuss lifestyle changes with customers and provide referrals.
Distribute and maintain teaching materials.
Facilitate education programs for staff and community.
Develop and update presentation materials.
Travel within service area using own transportation.
