Job summary

The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign seeks a Civil Service 5002 Program Coordinator for McKinley Health Center’s Health Education & Wellness Unit. You will supervise professional staff, graduate assistants, and student workers while supporting the unit’s operational infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 3 years in education or health promotion or related field; supervisory experience.
• Strong planning, coordination, and evaluation abilities; commitment to equity and student-centered health promotion.
• Experience supervising, mentoring, and coordinating professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, provide onboarding, and support professional development.
• Coordinate day-to-day unit operations and staffing coverage; manage budgets and procurement.
