Job summary

Triple-S is seeking a Health Educator to develop, update, and ensure the quality of educational materials across all lines of business in Puerto Rico. The role partners with Marketing, Compliance, and Clinical Management for approvals and updates to materials in line with health literacy standards.

The incumbent will coordinate medical advisor attestations, manage printed materials requisitions, and maintain thorough documentation and inventories. PR licensure is required where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Public Health or Health Education.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Health Educator or clinical experience.
• Current PR License without Puerto Rico Board restrictions (if incumbent is Health Educator or Nutritionist).
• Lic. Health Educator certification.

Responsibilities

• Create and update educational materials and letters for Triple-S lines on sponsor requests or guideline changes.
• Coordinate discussion and attestation of educational materials by medical advisors.
• Ensure materials meet compliance, grammar, content, health literacy level and line-of-business requirements.
• Process requisitions for printed educational material on time within budget.
• Evaluate materials from reliable sources and coordinate approvals by internal committees and external agencies.
• Prepare reports on educational materials creation and updates.
• Create and maintain an inventory of approved educational materials and letters.
• Maintain documentation of policies and processes related to responsibilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or senior manager.
