Job summary

The Florida Department of Health, Division of Children's Medical Services, seeks a professional research analyst in the Systems Information Management Unit to advance the unit's research agenda through data quality assessments, statistical analyses, and program evaluations.

You will present findings to diverse audiences, using SAS or R, SQL, and visualization tools, and translate complex results into clear, actionable information for program staff working to improve Children's Medical Services

Qualifications

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with multivariate and inferential analyses using SAS or R.
Experience querying data with SQL, and depicting trends in Qlik or using ArcGIS map functions.
Master's degree in quantitative social science or Bachelor's with 3+ years of professional statistical analysis experience in healthcare or social sciences.
Ability to organize complex information into user-friendly formats for presentations and written materials.
Strong written and spoken communication skills with professional organizational abilities.
